Meet the Owners
James Lowery – A Lifelong Passion for Cars and Serving the Community
James’ automotive journey began as a child when his father bought a 1967 Chevelle Malibu for them to restore together. After his father’s unexpected passing, his grandfather helped preserve the car, and they finished it in honor of his father. A moment that ignited James’ lifelong passion for cars.
Fueled by determination, James graduated at the top of his class from Wallace State College’s Automotive Technology Program, earning honors and a podium finish in the Statewide Skills USA competition. He started as an oil changer at a dealership and quickly climbed the ranks to become Ford Master Certified, eventually serving as General Manager of a Christian-based automotive franchise.
Outside the shop, James is dedicated to his church, mission trips, and community service. He loves spending time with his wife, Mckinzie, and their foster son. When he’s not working on cars or rock climbing, he’s always giving back to those around him.
Ben Aaron – A Heart for Service and Community
Ben’s path into the automotive world was guided by faith and a desire to help others. Before becoming an auto repair expert, he led mission trips and managed a lawn maintenance team, always seeking opportunities to serve.
After meeting James through church, they quickly realized their shared vision of using their talents to serve people. Ben made a full commitment to the automotive industry, quickly gaining valuable experience in business management and customer service, excelling in both.
When not at the shop, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, Aladie, going on mission trips, and staying active with CrossFit, aiming one day to earn the title of “Healthiest Man Alive.”

James and Ben always shared a vision to own a business where their skills could make a difference and their values could guide every decision. Through faith, persistence, and hard work, that vision became a reality.
In just two years, they had the opportunity to purchase Ron Wilson’s Auto Service in Cullman, a shop known for its long standing reputation for honesty and quality. That same commitment led to the expansion into Trussville, and now to Alabaster with Alabaster Automotive and Community Auto Repair. Taking on these trusted names has been both a privilege and a responsibility they do not take lightly.
